Hello Nathan. In reading Greene Co searches you show your Jones request
and list TUGGLE and HEARD as other lines. I have both of these and would

In list of families in Green County, you have TUGGLE. I am searching for
George Tuggle who had daughter Catherine. She married Davis Reynolds in
Greene Co. George also had land in Oglethorpe and Morgan Counties. Any
help on any of these would be apreciated.
I wish Steve Morse would go over and "fix" the front end of the
Library of Virginia search engine too

Hi Mell.
Nope, I am Jim W from William W 1759-1829, husband of Jerusha Jones
Willoughby. I believe Noel was a descendant of Aaron Willoughby. I've heard
that Aaron was William's brother (Pike County Heritage Book) but I have
found no proof. I have a bit of info about them too.
I think the Jim W you mention is living in Japan..
Please tell me where you fit in to all this puzzle.

I personally like to put up "my own" pages, and let others know where they
are, linking all the counties, of course.

I am referring to any Greene County information you want to get online that
is related to genealogy or history of the area. In other words, I will not
post commercial ads etc on the page. Just send me your file the way you
want it to be seen and I will get it up. Or if you want to just put a short
bio, will, query etc online and don't care about format go to

I am trying to locate any information on Hubbard Glass. He last appears on the 1805 Tax List for Greene Co. If any one has access to this list, I would appreciate any info that is provided about him and his family. He was a son of William Glass, Jr. and I believe him to be the progenitor of the Glass family that shows up in Shelby County Alabama in 1830.
Norma,
I see that James Ivy & Lucinda Rowland were m. 4 Oct 1838 in Greene Co., GA
and that Enos W. Ward & Mary Rowland were m. 14 Jul 1831 in Greene Co.
There is also an entry for the marriage of Eneas Ward to Altetha Winfield 29
Jan 1828 in Greene Co. Do you think this was your Enos Wesley?
