Hi, Well, finally a TATLOR descendent from Washington County, GA. I am pretty sure, with that John Daniel TAYLOR in your bunch that your bunch is part of the William P. TAYLOR (1787-1853) and Amelia DANIEL (1795-1860) family of Burke and later Washington County, GA. They are buried in the Taylor Cemetery, near Riddleville, Washington County, Ga. I know they had three children -- a James R. TAYLOR born 1818 who married an Olivia, a James Levin TAYLOR born 1826 who married Nancy Maria CLARK, d/o Ch

Hi, There was a Henry Thomas born 1869 who was buried at Carter's Chapel Church. Date of death unknown. Buried on Row 08 # 15 No other information. This info is listed in the Laurens Co Cemetery Records Book. I could find none of the other Thomas children buried in Laurens Co. Hi: The TAYLORS and PIERCES are around the DANIEL/DANIELS family in this time frame. There were TAYLORS who migrated from Burke to Washington and lived near Riddleville, Washington County, so some of their siblings were possibly over in LAURENS. The PIERCE family I track is the Joshua or James PIERCE family which ties into the Elias DANIEL family of Tattnall County, GA but Elias had siblings all over the area including Benjamin DANIEL in Laurens County, GA. There was a W J Stewart born Sept 29, 1819 died Dec 27, 1892 buried at Wood Cemetery with no one beside him. This cemetery is located off Hwy 29 going east toward Soperton from Dublin. Located just off Curl Rd (turn right) go about 1.3 miles. Cemetery is located in Pine Grove about 50 yds from road.
