Richard - hi. It's great to hear from you again. I wish you great success on the new book. I have a Gallimore relative who is looking for an ancestor. I don't know if you can help - this is her bit of information: "my ancestor from Davidson Co., Wilson Riley Gallimore, had 13 (or 14) children and named one of Alice and one of them Riley Emerson. Another interesting thing is that I see the Varkers are from Cornwall, England. My family lore is that Wilson's father, John Gallimore was from Cornwall

Amen, to wandering! I'm finding Wright's and Gallimore's all over NC, KY, IL, MO. Even TX - that's where I found out that Nelson Gallimore, Jesse and Ruth's son ended up and eventually died there. I've corresponded with his GGGranddaughter several times. Reminds me... I need to write to Sharon again. Thanks. I spent nearly a dozen years researching the historical events and family folklore contained in the book "SIX BULLS-The Ohioans" and the next book "SIX BULLS-The Carolinians." It has been fun and a rewarding experience for me. The folklore, of course, are tales about the early pioneers traveling to SW Missouri and the land of the Six Bulls.
