For D. Ward: I have a John Lewis LINGERFELT who married a Barbara Ann __?__. They are the parents of my Mary LINGERFELT who m.01FEB1890 to Howard D. SHELTON. Seeking biographical information on Mathew/Matthew Fleming Stephenson, b ca 1802 VA, and his son-in-law, Dr. John Wills, b ca 1819 PA or MD. They were Masons and lodge brothers at Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, in 1854, and both eventually moved to Gainesville, Hall County. Stephenson was assayer at the Dahlonega Branch Mint from around 1850-1855.
