There are rumors in my family about Cherokee blood being in my GAMBLE line.
The only proof I could find was Chickasaw blood in my CAMPBELL line.

I've followed this discussion through several emails but really paid
attention when the surname Rodgers came up. I don't know if there's a
connection but here's some info...
Lydia Viola Gamble was born 1879 in Indian Territory (now near Adair,
Oklahoma). My Gamble ancestors are in SW Missouri, NW Arkansas, and NE
Oklahoma (AKA Indian Territory) during the 1800s to present. She married
John Monroe Moore and they lived in Southwest City, Missouri, just across
the state line. Their oldest daughter, Loye May M
