records for King and Queen, King William and Spotsylvania County, seem to

SOME DAUGHTERS OF BRADLEY AND SUSANNA GAMBILL

since she listed Tennessee as her birthplace on the 1850 Census. Lydia
married Robert Magness on 20 Oct 1801 in Davidson County, Tennessee. Robert

By 1820 Lydia was a widow who lived next door to her mother with two sons

CLERKS OF THE COURT
Trivia Question: How many Gam*s served as clerks of the court in the early
history of our country? I have found 9. I did not go looking for Clerks of
the Court - this list is based on collateral notes.
1752 - Henry Gambril Sr Culpeper?
1752 - Henry Gambril Jr Culpeper? (on the same record with HG Sr)
1756 - Benjamin Gambell Culpeper?
1764 - William Gambrill Culpeper?
1777 - John Gambrel Culpeper?
The above list was made from records found in "Northern Neck Warrants and
Surveys"
Some of the family names are consistent, so perhaps there was some cousin
parallel lines here. I do not know how they link if they do.
