Looking for a death record for Samuel Fielding. Listed in the mortality index as 84 M/W/M born in Conn. tailor died in Feb 1880. Would like to confirm his parents if possible or which cemetery he was buried in. His wife Elizabeth and daugheters Adeli

There is not a listing in the Oconee Cemetery book for any of the named
Fielding family members.

I would check the surrounding counties, Clarke, Greene [Close to Salem area]
Morgan etc. I did check in the Oglethorpe County Cemetery Book - No Listing
Cemeteries of Oglethorpe County, Georgia, 3rd Edition, Compiled by Historic
Oglethorpe County, Inc, C 2005

Clarke County Georgia Marriage Records 1803-1909 has Samuel Fielding to
Elizabeth Nott (Nutt?) May 22, 1828 Book B, p. 130. I did not find any
Fielding names in the Clarke Co., cemetery book but it does not include
Oconee Hill Cemetery.
