Dear List Members,
I look forward to the year 2003 being a great one for our list. Because
of the amount new members we have subscribing every day, I feel it is
time to again post the suggested rules of the list...even us long time
members need reminding once in a while.
1 I have very few rules on the lists I watch over. The main one is to
treat your fellow members as you would like to be treated. Also the
posting of virus warnings, test messages, chain letters, political
announcements, current e

Hi,
Thanks for replying to my message. My Sikes database is a meager one,
having only recently acquired information on my great-grandparent's, and
great-great grandparent's families. My great great grandparents are Matthew
Thomas Sikes, born 5 Apr 1844, died 4 Mar 1919; and his wife Sarah Jane
Watson, born 1 Jan 1853, died 3 Apr 1936. They are buried in Northview Cem.,
Dublin, Laurens Co., GA. The family is shown on the 1880 Pulaski Co. census,
and I know they lived in Pulaski Co. before moving

what particular Sanders are you charting. I have some info on Sanders in
Edgefield Co, SC, I am also interested in the Satcher-McCarty connection in
Edgefield-Aiken Co. SC.....
Is anyone on this list related to or researching Sikes, Watson, and Causey
families in Pulaski Co.? I am a descendant of Matthew Thomas Sikes, his wife
Sarah Jane Watson, and their son James Green Sikes who married Martha
Josephine Causey.
Thanks, Aleta Pope Hudson
Sorry, I do not have much on the Sikes, but Sarah "Sally" Sikes is my
gggrandmother from Lincoln Co., GA. Her birthdate is Dec 20, 1799. The
family moved to Randolph Co., GA before settling in Henry Co., AL.
Do you have her in your database?
Thanks,
Virginia
