my gardners are mixed blood american indian / "scots-irish". john gardner. he was my great grandfather, but i dont know yet what his fathers name was. my john gardner would have been born in the late 1800's, around the 1880's. i cant yet place connections in jersey, but in bradford, columbia, and lycoming counties in pa.

There was an American Genealogical Research Institute located at 1235 Kenilworth Ave., N.E., Washington, D.C. 20019. This information is on the inside cover of a book I have "The Gardner Family" written in 1975. There is no Library of Congress Catalog # or ISBN information in the book.
