1. Re: [GARDNER-UK] Barnabas and Charlotte Gardner [1]
Another thing to see is order the parish record M001611 to see if it has anymore information in it. According to the IGI on Familysearch.org There is a Barnabas Gardner in 1767 being born in St. George of the East Stepney. Maybe you could find the record for that. The christening records of the children at St. George might if you are lucky give you an occupation. Do you know any of the occupations of the children: In 1841, I found 5 George Gardner I have some access. Thanks -----Original Message-

It could also be that a female Griffiths married a Gardner to help cement the friendship so I will have to look more closely at the Griffiths siblings. I'm really intruiged about Barnabas Gardner because if he is the

Hi all I have just joined this list because I am trying to discover the connection between the Gardner family and my Griffiths family who for several generations used "Gardner" as a middle name for one of their children. I have recently found that a Barnabas Gardner and Charlotte Gardner were witnesses to one of my Griffiths marriages in 1806 St Matthews Bethnal Green and would like to try and find out more about them. On the IGI I found a marriage between Barnabas Gardner and Charlotte Stephenson i
