5. Robert and Sabrina Parker Sumter County before 1880's [1]
Does anyone know if there was a newspaper in Sumter County with copies still available that go back to 1850? I'm hoping to find a marriage announcement on my brick wall, Robert Hodges. He married Sabrina Parker (daughter of James and Rebecca Parker) in Sumter County, Georgia Sept. 12, 1850. They lived in Sumter County until the 1880's when they moved to Henry County, AL. Robert and Sabrina's descendants are as follows: 1 Robert Hodges 1823 - 1899 . +Sabrina Parker 1827 - 1908 .... 2 Lamb W. Hodges 1863

Jeff, you and I met last summer in Georgia at Ron and Judy's gathering, but you had to go on home and we didn't get much chance to visit. I am a Lamb Parker descendant.
