Hi Just thought I'd check and see if you have ever come across a Sherrard/Chappell marriage in NC? My husband has an ancestor named Sherrard Chappell and I've always thought he was named after the maiden name of some female member of the family. Long shot, I know, but had to ask! They were in the Surry/Yadkin Cos area of NC BTW. Thanks! Barbara S.
