On page 73 of Joseph Maddox's book, Wilkinson County, Georgia Historical Collectins, he has the following: "Note: Muster Roll, Co. H. 2nd, Regiment, lst Brigade under Colonel Robert H. Storey, and Muster Roll, Co. D. 8th, Regiment, Georgia Militia of Wilkinson County, was made up of older men and young boys. I have not heard of Lucinda Griffin going by the name of Mary E. Griffin. Lucinda was born in 1805, she died in 1858. Her headstone merely has Mother on it with the dates 1805-1858. She is interred in the Griffin Cemetery I believe. For some reason The General John Twiggs Chapter DAR History of Twiggs County Georgia.
