I new on this list and really need some help. I'm need information on Snowden Kirkland found in the 1820 Wilkes County Census on page 199 and William Kirkland found in the 1820 Wilkes County Census on page 168. This is the only census with information on these two individuals. each of these individuals show a male 10 - 16 years old. which would match the age of my GG Grandfather William Kirkland who married Rebecca Litton who I believe to be from Oglethorpe County Georgia. My gr-gr-grandfather, Elihu MOORE, b. abt 1810/20, possibly in Wilkes County, GA, and son of a William MOORE, is a major BRICK WALL for me. "Elihu" might have been "Elisha."
