I have a JOHN GARDNER b1818 from Wilkinson Co Ga. The 1900 census shows his father born Alabama.
Does anyone know of a Gardner family somewhere in Alabama early 1800s that would have moved to Georgia by 1818 and had a son JOHN.

I am searching for ANY information on any William T.- often referred to as WT Holland born in Georgia- County Unknown. He would have been about 26-28 in 1860, and 16-18 in 1850. He eventually moved to Texas where he died in 1866.
