Looking to verify if Thomas Vann of Wilkinson Co., GA was the father of Mary Vann, who married James Clark in Wilkinson County and then moved to Laurens County.
Regarding Thomas Vann: On 1850 Wilkinson Co. Census it shows him to have been born in South Carolina, being age 66.

In deeds recorded in New Hanover Co., NC, our ancestor James Harvey Ramsey and his brothers Thomas Jr. and Moses were residents of Wilkinson Co., in 1815-17.Thomas and Moses were on the 1820 census of Wilkinson, but James H. was not. I believe that I have found James Harvey Ramsey on the Laurens census of 1820, but it is

registrants of the 1805 GA Land Lottery, I found the following:
Solomon Thompson, Hancock Co. He died 1815 in Wilkinson Co. Wife Rebecca
Mitchell
In "Genealogical Material from Legal Notices in Early GA Newspapers," by
Huxford I found:
Wilkinson Co.: Isaac Mitchell, applies for administration on the estate of
Solomon Thompson, 3 Apr 1815.

Interested in your Criswell/Temples line. My gggrandmother, Frances Jane
Criswell, was a daughter of Lawson Criswell and Sarah Temples. Frances Jane
married Jackson Martin. My ggrandmother, Naomi Martin, was a result of this
marriage. Naomi Martin married Winfield Scott Langford. All were residents of
Wilkinson County, GA.
