4. Heinrich Ziebell family [1]
I have been searching for records of Heinrich Ziebell who died in Germany in the Pommern region sometime in the 1860-1870s. He was my great-great-grandfather. His widow Caroline, and there three sons aged 8, 10, and 12 came to America soon after. My great-grandfather, Richard Ziebell, was the 8 year old son. The family ended up in Hubbard, Iowa. I am really interested in finding where Heinrich Ziebell is buried. I think that is the secret to finding my family roots. Kent Ziebell -- _________________

Henning, in your posting is an error: > According to my map > 1789 Woellnau and Gorschlitz were part of Kingdom of Saxony. The Kingdom of Saxony was the result of the alliance of Posen between Napoleon Bonaparte and Friedrich August III., elector of Saxony, in December 11th, 1806. Before that date Saxony was an Electorate. The elector Friedrich August III. became King Friedrich August I. of Saxony. Regards, Peter M.
