In order to certify that they are legal heirs of a parent, that entire batch of documents would have been needed back in Germany by the children, as well as their own birth certificates. So the family that traveled with such a stack was being prudent & forward looking in terms of the legal system/bureaucracy with which they were familiar. Irene Newhouse

I tried using Daja.com but they are not archived there either. There is a very specific posting requirement as to the subject line being just so, so expect to be "rejected" by the computer server a couple of times. But the Computer notifys of the text he does not like. You must have name, place, time, with last name in caps,
