I have found my Ancestors on a passenger list on June 1858 from Germany to New York on the liner Saxonia. I am confused. Research of ships list a Cunard ship built around 1900 named Saxonia, obviously this can not be the same ship. Are there two ships named Saxonia? L2117

Hi Joline! A Zimmermann is a carpenter. I am working on a Bunning family in Kreis Perleberg, and I have visited the town a couple of times. A German genealogist in Lenzen has an index of 100.000 church records from the area, all prior to 1750.
