Hello: I am editor of a newsletter and I have them done by a publisher.
He wants the addresses in ASCII format. Does anyone know of an address book
program that will save them like that? The only address book I have right
now is my email one. I need one for snail mail. Thanks,

I have a redirect on mail so that it will finally get to me but

I will be going on a family vacation and family reunion in August and was
wondering if anyone has ever made any Genealogy Business cards to hand out.
I've seen one before, but have since misplaced it. Any ideas/suggestions are
appreciated.

Hi Linda,
I mailed the round robin to the next person on the list on June 9th.

I did mine at home. I've done two actually. One is a tree and hill. The
tree is off to the side then my name and address. The other is of other one
has a tree at the top with my name and address at the bottom.
I found that factoring in the postage and handling (read mailing envelopes!)
was very important in figuring the cost of selling book. I also gave folks a
pre-publication discount, for orders that came in before the book was bound.
That proved to be great motivator for getting orders. Good luck! Marilyn
Dear Anne,
I don't know how much you should charge for each book but I'd be interested
in getting a copy. I live in Toronto, Ontario so it shouldn't pose too much
of a problem if you live in Canada. Does the cost of the book also include
PST & GST?
Sincerely,

Hi everyone
I'm putting together a book (213 Pages on 20 lb copy paper) of past issues
of my newsletter.
It'll have cerlox binding and 2 card stock covers (110 lb).
I'll print up each book as needed. The cost of each book will be approx.
$36-00 Canadian (including postage and packaging).
Any ideas how much I should charge?
Thanks in advance
Anne
I just wanted to remind everyone about the importance of updating your web
pages. Although I hadn't changed anything, some of my web pages were moved
by America Online. All my links were broken, and I had to relink them.
I have done so now, and my web page is as follows:
Evans Events - genealogy
This page is of course my newsletter Evans Events.
I also wanted newsletter editors to remember the

My little hometown bank has changed their check routing procedures and
initiated new rules concerning checks from Canada, including checks written
on U.S. Dollar accounts. They will no longer accept any check below the
amount of $150 and they charge a $10 fee for those.
Is there another method by which my Canadian subscribers can pay me for
subscriptions? How do the rest of you handle this?

Is there anyone on the list who does a museum newsletter? The museum in

I have a temporary MB site for my ad, but I find that it is one of those

Hi Sherri and interested others
The newsletter is a South African genealogy one, so I don't know if you're
still interested. I still have to do the index, so the book won't be ready
until another month or two.
