2. Jacques Lussier / Catherine Clerice (two questions) [1]
Does anyone know anything about these two ancestors of mine from before they left France? I know that Jacques came over to Canada as an indentured servent. Also, I have references to Catherine (and Jacques' first wife, also) as being a "fille du roi". I do not know what this expression means (other than the word-for-word translation), can anyone explain what a fille du roi is? Jacques was born in Paris in 1646 and died in Quebec in 1713. Catherine was born in Paris in 1653 and died in 1714/15 in Varennes,

8. Re: DO YOU BELIEVE IN REINCARNATION? 8078 [1]
>> Do you believe in REINCARNATION? > >I dunno. Wouldn't that make genealogy very complicated? > Considering all the genealogical data being collected - if reincarnation is indeed a fact we should now be able to prove the existance of the previous incarnation. The biggest trouble with reincarnation claims in the past is that there was no way to verify that the person existed if they were a normal person like Bridey Murphy. --- Rick Virginia Beach, VA Anti-spam device - remove "Z-" from email ad
