My wife's great-grandmother appears to have been Pouldron or Pauldron and I have'nt found any such family name anywhere - even in France on the Minitel. Has anyone ever seen such a name? Could it be Paul Dron? Has anyone ever encountered such a development?

I have seen them and read some of them here and there. They are quite wonderful and very spiritual. They had an effect on me and I wish I had a set. I know that several genealogy societies have a set and I know for a fact that NEHGS has one. I think they are known as the Jesuit Relations. Maybe someone will reply who has had more in depth experience than I. Would like to have nothing to do for six months so I could sit there and do nothing but read them.
