1. COTE/CARON in Terrebonne, Quebec [1]
Fellow genealogists, I am trying to determine the parents of Mary Marthe COTE, who married Pierre CARON on 4 Feb 1799 at St. Anne des Plaines, Terrebonne, Quebec. She died at Ste Anne 4 Aug 1845 at the age of 62. This is according to her death record at the church. That would mean she was born around 1783. Any help on finding her parents and her ancestry would be appreciated. It is possible that they were not married at St. Anne, although one source has told me they were. I could not find a record for them

Hi, Would anyone have heard of the family name Ablei? I believe there was an umlout over the i. Please reply to my email address jagou@aol.com Thanks, John Abley Gould New York, NY

I can write to. Thanks in advance. Claudine jscl@inch.com

7. Re: French Telephone Area Codes [1]
This information is only given in English because our cousins from Quebec will get the messages on the telephone lines (even if French sounds a little different on this side of the water) [..I was told that the area codes had changed. They are now tree didget codes....] All you have to do is to keep in mind that 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 will have to be added before the number you dialed before. 1 is for Paris region, North West France has 2, North East 3, South East including Lyon has 4 and South west France has 5
