I was In Salt Lake yesterday. My son is stationed there in the Air Force. I decided to verify if the record of
Kamenka, Russia's Urbans, coming from Marienburg, was founded in Church records. LDS had the film of 1700 to post 1780s
Catholic Church records in Marienburg. I found an Urban baptized in the church there in April 1766 and
another married there in Oct 1767, to a Lutheran girl. This latter was probably after the original Urban group left for Russia,

Larry Gene Buehler of Boulder died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at Boulder
Community Hospital. He was 65.
He was born Oct. 28, 1936, to Leo and Helen Rassette Buehler of Russell,
Kan.
He married LaVonne Barton on Nov. 12, 1954, in Russell.
Mr. Buehler lived his early life in Russell. He graduated from Russell High
School, where he was a member of the State Basketball Class A Championship
team in 1953. From September 1954 to December 1956, he served in the U.S.

Although it is not listed, the old Catholic Cathedral in Saratov is

still standing. It was converted into a theatre, and the front facade
and
bell towers removed. Going to the side you can easily see the outline
of
the Church and where the stain glass windows once were.

Carl Keller
Carl H. Keller, 95, of Fort Collins died Friday, Aug. 2, at Windsor Health
Care in Windsor. He was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Lincoln, Neb., to Henry and
Katie (Ehrlich) Keller. On May 14,1938, he married Mary K. Lind in Windsor.
Mr. Keller farmed in northern Colorado most of his life and had farmed in
the Fort Collins area since 1947. Before 1947, he farmed with his father and

Boos and his wife, Mary Catherine were both born in
Obermunjou (Anton in 1853; no date for Mary Catherine).
Both emigrated to America in 1909, sailing from Bremen,
Germany on the S.S. Breslau February 27, 1909, and arriving
in Baltimore, Maryland March 13, 1909.
The S.S. Breslau's passenger list shows an Anton Boos (age
54, previous residence Obermunjor) who I believe is my great
grandfather. The list also shows a Latjeroma Boos (age 52,
