My great great grandmothers name was "Golnick." In the land records for Krone, Posen, for l795-l806 there is a number of Gogolinck. This is a close enough spelling of this unusual name to record what I found. The LDS film (#0245433) is extremely difficult to read. Below is all that I could decipher from the film.

I was digging around in a LDS Film l479682 looking for my surnames. This film is a collection of books from several Lutheran parishes in early Milwaukee. The earliest listings go back to the l860s. Some of the film is unreadable. Some of the film is unreadable because it is in old German script. If this record is of your family there might be more in this film that I simply could not decipher.

I have "rescued" an old autograph album dated 1889 which belonged to Emma
GOLLNICK of Wisconsin. The album includes entries from both family and
friends. Most of the entries are in German, though I'm not certain of that
and the handwriting is very hard to read so I've done my best with names,
though I've guessed at many. The entries include:
Family:
7 Charles GOLLNICK Your Brother Nov 13, 1889, Milwaukee, WI
7 Paulina GOLLNICK
7 Loise GOLLNICK, Cedarburg, WI, 16th May 1889
7 August GOLLNICK
