Roy,
I am getting the papers together for you. I am sorry it has taken so long, but other things got in my way. I didn't want you to think I had forgotten you.
There are other people on the list that have some information. It is on Ancestry.com. If you have the time to look, you may find it interesting.
Hello, Hello,
The weather certainly has been challenging this summerand it is preventing me from going outside, which I love. With all the election gobblely gook, the health of some of us and
Roy,
I am glad that you went forward with the information I gave you. I apologize for not giving you more.
You are a very good genealogist and I am glad you could go forward and gain more information. Thanks for giving more information about your wife's background. I do not know as much about the Southern Rapes as I do about the PA Rapes, so it is nice to get new information.

Thanks for the welcome, Yes, we think it is beautiful here in Brazoria
County (where the country of Texas began). Although we are close to the
beach (15 miles) we are blessed to live on the bank of a nice tranquil
river (San Bernard) in a virtual jungle of mostly live oak & pecan
trees. since I was born and raised in south Texas near the southern end
of Padre Island & spent most of my early life on the island, I can never
stray far from the Gulf.

many hours on the beaches of Mustang & Padre Islands walking, shell hunting,
etc.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know I have business to take care of and I probably won't be posting for a little while. (Not that I have been a wealth of information) Sometimes I hesitate to post, for I think I will be repeating news that you already know) The list has been quiet, so I think I will be able to check in and take care of the spam. Many lists are leaving Roots web, or giving up their lists. I am surprised by how many, but the new people on the lists seem to like websites. (I belong to several

To all my friends on this list,
My daughter, Tracy Dobie Rapp, gave birth to a son on August 14 at 4:39 am.
She and her husband Bob are so very happy! The baby's name is Kyle Andrew
Dobie; he weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. He arrived a
bit early at 37 weeks, but he seems to be a normal, healthy baby - Praise
God!!! Kyle has a big sister, 2 years old, named Lauren who is just
delighted with him (for now!).

Good morning, Jim & Diane -
Awesome!!!! Our prayers have certainly all been answered by a 'bouncing
baby boy'. What a delight he is here to be loved by each of you! Now...the
fun begins with one of God's newest miracles.
Thanks for posting. God's blessing....Gail & Stan

Dear Harlan,
I checked with Diane and she doesn't recognize the names you provided. We
have not done a very good job in researching her genealogy, but here is what
we know. Diane's father was Clyde H. Parsons the son of Samuel Parsons born
in Bedlington England in1884. Clyde had only two children both girls. Samuel
had one other son, Arthur G. Parsons who fathered two sons, Gerald born in
1934 and John born in 1936. Not much is known about Gerald's children, but
he did have at least one son. John Parsons f
Congratulations to Jim, Tracy and the entire family!
Jim, is "Dobie" Tracy's married name?

What fun to hear of your critters and your loyalties to TX football teams,
Roy. Thanks for taking time to share with the list. Not sure I'd want the
water moccasins as believe they are poisonous. We had a ruby throated
hummingbird on our patio two days ago, so greatly enjoyed. It was very
special to us when we saw our first armadillo. Last year we were very close
to some @ Aransas National Wildlife Center, so found their hairy belly very
interesting. Bless you for your service to our country. G

Diann,
You have been a great help to me. I found my way to the archives, John
V. Reeb's data & www. McCorcle. com. All of which took me several steps
further to Heinrich Reeb abt. 1600. From Hugh Forbes service in the
Continental Army, this gives my wife Lillian a second route to a DAR
application. She's quite an aristocrat with her 4th great-grandfather,
Hugh forbes, & her 5th great-grandfather, Shearjushub Spooner,

Dear Harlan,
Yes "Dobie" is Tracy's married name. Since her husband Bob is the only male
in his line, the name will now continue (I think he and his family are very
pleased about that).
Thanks for your message.
