Being forwarded here to the group is a complete list of all known Rapes
who served in the War of 1812, including full soldier's name and
regiment/state he served in. If anyone can connect to one of these
names, their military and pension records can be ordered from the
National Archives with this info. Hope it might help someone.

everyone, sorry I've been heard from little of late; my dad is requiring
more of my time as he approaches his 99th birthday, Jan. 15. I have little
time to work on the family tree. Thanks to all of you for all your help and

They are buried at the Good Hope Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I would like to know if anyone has any more of these family members from
Wilhelmina. I have the Ramlow family from Ferdinand down. Not ba

In response to the e-mail on this subject, I am doing quite well thank you.
Also finally got all (I hope) kinks out of TMG and memory in my computer to
handle the program so the editing of the files are doing o.k. except being the
type of person who would rather search than record, I get distracted whenever
I see some unanswered question and end up back at the library or in the
archives looking etc.
In regards to the Rape men who were in the War of 1812 some of you might be

In response to Aileen's post to the list with the Mecklenburg County, NC Rape

have had to be Henry Rape's daughter. The reason I know this is because of
the following:
As most of you may recall Peter Rape named his three younger sons, Israel
Bradox Rape, William Howard Rape and Augustus S. Rape and his daughter Mary
Ann Rape as heirs to his estate and named his older sons John and Peter as
executors of his will. This will was

not had the time to devote to my list's that I once had. Maybe someday again.
Anyway, just tonight I was going over a new CD on marriages and found some of
ours from this list. We already have these dates and names but it does give
