2. Question about John Rape (who m. Polly Dunn) [1]
I've noticed Deanna giving a middle name of Frances for John Rape-4 (Gustavus-3,Peter-2,Gustavus-1). My questions is just what the source is for that middle name? Is there a document somewhere where his middle name is used? While I'm at it... Does anyone have anything on Polly Dunn's parentage? Nancy, Yes, I am very much aware that all RAPES are not REEBS. In my e-mail to Dan Reeb, I only mentioned one group of RAPES who are not REEBS to make my point. In fact long before I got involved in searching the REEB surname, I got very much involved in study of all the various Rapes in records and also by corresponding with them through the mail etc. In fact the point I have always tried to get accross to people who I exchange information with, not only Rape descendants but REEBS is that the family, I

Susanna Rape born 22 Aug.1839 was daughter of William Howard Rape and Capt. B. F. Richardson. She died 12 May 1897 and was buried in Bethlehem Church Cemetery. She had nine children. I have some further information on some of her descendants but would very much welcome exchanging information with any living descendants, since my efforts in that regard failed in the past. The name Steven J. Rapp of Utah was found in a magazine by my husband. It is billed as the 'Worlds #1 Knife Publication', the name of the magazine is "Blade" this is the August 1998 (yes that is what it has on the cover!) John While we are on the subject I thought I might add that all RAPES may not be REEBS. Recently in Millville, New Jersey I found the burial of Thomas E. and Margaret A. Rape in Holy Cross (Roman Catholic) Cemetery. It had no dates so having access to the census for Cumberland County, State of New Jersey for the years 1895 and 1915 I decided to check for them. I found Thomas living with another family (REDINGTON) in 1915 along with a James Rape. It stated that they were born in PA. but their parent
