Grandma is Maria Jennie Gustin born in New York, married twice, 1st to Thomas Blackburn, 2nd Richard SIMON Robbins. Daughter Huldah Blackburn was married to William Crawford.
I also got from the Allen County, Indiana Directory, 1890, "Oliver Gustin,

As of about five minutes ago the Forum has been updated and as far as I can tell everything is working. The "What's New" http://www.webenet.net/~dusters57/Gustin/whatsnew.htm, Land & Property http://www.webenet.net/~dusters57/Gustin/landcenter.htm, Church Directory pages are all online. The front page has been updated with new categories added.
There have been a few new pages added also: the Maternal Lines page, Ohio Patents and Iowa Cemetery Index. If would like your "direct" female Gustin line added

I have the 1880s on CDs. They are great.
I have IN Vital Records CDs; Birth, Marriage, & Death (abt 1880 to abt 1930)
North America Vital Records CDs I forget the time frame on them, but about the same as the ones above I think.
I also have a few 1900 & 1910 IN county census CDs. I believe 1910 is indexed.
1900 Clinton, Henry, Howard LaPorte, Lawrence, Madison, Wells, & White Co.s. However some of these do not include the whole county.

Sandt and Bill,
Thanks for the note and congratulations on retirement. I retired last September
and may spend more time on my ancestry. While this email address is still
good, could you please change my address to: davidgustine@adelphia.net.
Thanks,
Dave Gustine

Hi Everyone!
I'll start the roll call off since I have been AWOL for so long (almost four years now), and trying to get back into research once again.
The Gustin line I call mine is that of my son's mother. The line goes like this and I am giving a VERY abbrivated version here. This the direct line only!
1..Rev. Alpheus Gustin
+ Elizabeth Neville
2..Amos Gustin
+Susanna Jones
3..Alpheus Jones Gustin
+ Polly Edgington
4..Sarah Gustin
Hello again to each of you!
I have been getting re-acquainted with the maintenance of the Gustin/(Gustine) mailing list and want to share with you some of the nuts & bolts of the mailing list.
To begin with, it looks like I have deleted all of the email addresses that are no longer good. That leaves us with 40 people receiving the L (individual) mailings & 21 receiving the D (digest) mailings. Of those 61, 4 are receiving both mailings at the same email address and 4 are receiving both mailings but at d
Lois,
Ancestry only has 5 states indexed for the 1900 census - not PA, NY, or OR. So, I went on to the 1910 census and checked for Eli's brothers as listed in the 1880 census that Anita sent. I wonder if these are yours. If anyone out there can shed any light on these families, it would be great.
1910 PA census, Burlington Twp, Bradford Co, roll 1318, page 46A, family # 71
John H Gustin, head, age 57, 1st marriage, married 32 years, farmer
Orly F Gustin, wife, age 48, 1st marriage, married 32 years,
Lois, for your Crossman & Cuykendoll families - what time period are you
talking about? Would census searches help you?
Sandy & Bill

Thank you for your note. I may have misled you when I used Judy now in Florida as my signature line because I now live in Florida but am a Hoosier at heart. Bill and I are going to Germany for a month.
Oliver Gustin who settled in Allen County Indiana is my stumbling block.
Sandy what state are you looking for in 1900? Is it Oregon? I found a Eli Gustin living in Clatsop County, Oregon in 1900. Is this who You are looking for? Wife Laura?
Constance
Will start with the GUSTINE first as there are fewer of them - 101.

Judy, I wonder if these are your relatives? I did a search on Oliver Gustin and got a page of the Ft Wayne News dated 21 April 1916. In a column that had the heading "Antwerp News, April 20" (which would be Antwerp OH), was the following paragraph:
"Grandma Blackburn is visiting out at the home of Mr and Mrs Chas Perkins. Her daughter, Mrs William Crawford, having been called to Anderson, Ind, to attend the funeral of her uncle, Oliver Gustin."
I also got from the Allen County, Indiana Directory, 1890,

The 1880 census is available free to anyone at the Mormon church site. You can not pull up the original with out a fee to Ancestry but what a wealth of information you can find.

It will be back up hopefully by tomorrow morning. I have recovered all of the vital records that were lost and they will be back on line also. There is a whole new "front page", new cemetery entries, new marriage entries, room for photos', and much more. I have moved the end date from 1875 to 1900 in some areas.
Until my ISP has the repairs and ftp upgrades finished, the temporary site (which right now only has the temporary off line notice) is http://iagenweb.org/montgomery/gustin/offline.htm . I
