Markleville - Vance Gustin, 78, lifetime resident of Markleville, died
suddenly at his home this morning. Born in Madison County, March 2, 1891,
he was the son of John and Sarah Gustin. Mr. Gustin had been employed with
the State Highway Dept. His wife, Georgia, preceded him in death in 1957.
Surviving are five sons, Harold Gustin of Anderson, Gerald Gustin, Ralph
Gustin, Herbert Gustin, all of Markleville and Glen Gustin of Lapel;

Samuel W. Gustin, 85, native Of Blanchester, died at Bethesda Hospital,

Gustin, and was a life member of Blanchester lOOF lodge. He also held
membership in the Blanchester Methodist Church.

Davenport, Fla. - Thelma B. (Gustin) McClead, died April 3, 1995, at Winter
Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Fla., after a sudden illness.
She was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Madison County and lived in the
Alexandria-Orestes area most of her life. She was a resident of Marion and
lived in Florida since 1984.
She was a 1941 graduate of Alexandria High School. She was a homemaker and
a former employee of Alexandria Glove Factory and Western Aut

Robert Gene Gustin, Sr., 52, 1127 W. Fifth St., died Sept. 23, 1993, at his
residence after an extended illness.

Harry R. Gustin Dies in Cleveland
Harry R. Custin, 75, native of Blanchester, died Wednesday at his residence in
Cleveland and will be brought to Blanchester for services and burial.
The son of Warren and Ella Rice Gustin, he was born in Blanchester September
20, 1876, and lived in the community until a few years ago. He was as member of
Blanchester Universalist Church and was engaged in clerical work.
Mr. Gustin is survived by two sons, Joseph W.
