This is intended for ALL Gustin/Gustine descendants, regardless of your last
name.
I am the administrator for the Gustin mailing list and want to apologize to
all 50 members for not keeping it going better. A lot of
information-sharing has been going on outside the list, but will try to get
us back on track. We have a new project starting up and we need all your
assistance.
History: Back in the early to mid 1990's, we came across a group of Gustin

Good Morning,
I would like to make this to everyone and maybe someone will have a suggestion
and or a solution.
If Tom Hoot didn't have bad luck he wouldn't have any at all, I am well into his
file for the second time, I am close to 130 to 150 thousand out of
406,000. We can't find any company that can fix the file but I am using tricks
found here and there and things we both have read or asked the company,
even FTM won't fix the file. Augustine Jean came out of the file with around
65,000 descendants bu
Sandy, Glad to see that the Gustin/Gustine researchers are still at it. The
gustin message traffic has been so quiet for so long that I thought everyone
had just quit or maybe were working on their own.

Thank you!
Sandy

Hi, All
I have just scanned in data that I photocopied in Ft Wayne, IN a few weeks
ago - Marriages, Deaths, Births, Cemetery, etc. While I am emailing them to
a few of the members already, I figure there may be others of you who are
interested in the info also. My problem is how to make the info available
to you since this mailing list does not allow attachments. If I had a
website, I'd post it there, but am just not up to learning how to design one
right now. So, for now, here is my plan. As I get
I will be out of the office starting 10/19/2009 and will not return until

If you need assistance with a PMR, please contact IBM Tivoli Support and
request assistance or you may update your PMR electronically and the next
available engineer will contact you.
For those of you who don't know - we live in Englewood (a suburb of Dayton,
OH). While my husband is no longer actively engaged in genealogical
research, I am. If you have Gustin/e's in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky and
need something specifically looked up, let me know what and I may be able to
help you. (I do not charge for the work - just love to do the researching
and problem-solving.) All I ask is that you give me as much background as
possible so I don't duplicate work that has already been done. Th
My major line of descent and interest is thru Oliver Gustin and Sarah Brown from Connecticut thru New York to mainly Allen County, Indiana.
I can not prove that he is the son of Thomas Gustin (1725) and Hannah Griswold (1725/6).
I am certainly willing to share all that I do have. Judy Bie jdbieb@comcast.net

Hello,
I strongly endorse Sandy's wonderful proposal. For those of you unfamiliar with her work, she and her husband traveled far and wide throughout the United States for years to obtain copies of every primary or secondary Gustin Family sources they could lay their hands on. This was very determined and thorough (practically pre-internet) research. Tom Hoot has spent thousands of hours analyzing and processing all of this data (and Sandy acquired a mountain of documents). Let's pitch in on this pro
