Myra,
I don't have that particular scanner but have included scanned material
(pictures, documents) into my FTM with no problem. While in the scrapbook
where you want to place the picture, go to menu "picture/object" and select
"insert picture from file" then just follow the prompts. Easy as pie!

I agree with Elaine on Aunt Charlotte's Book. What a great thing to read.
Last spring I posted, in installments, the memoirs of an ancestor of my
father-in-laws, on the Homesteaders list. It is a well written narrative
about her life growing up in the late 1800's with some interesting bits about
the Civil War. I think it was in 5-6 installments.
Some of you may have read it then, but I have it in my word processor and
would be willing to share it with GenChat and Fireside if anyone is
interested.

My goodness, Girl, you've gone and topped yourself!! What a great
story. You can just pull a person right into it with you, and what precious
memories. That one is a winner if I ever read one!
Thanks for the memories!

Okay my friends, Many have asked me to do this so I will. I will put it out

So I will send the first installment shortly.

itself.
And then I thought of her, his mother who had slept with death to tear a

Chatters & Tipsters,
This is something to consider. And as a genealogy "tip" might well be
something to remember during our struggling searches for ancestors & lost
records.
THE OYSTER
There once was an oyster
Whose story I tell,
Who found that some sand
Had got into his shell.
It was only a grain,
But it gave him great pain.

Happy Holidays!
I made the mistake of forwarding a Christmas song brain teaser on to some
relatives. Unfortunately, I seem to have deleted the answers. Was this
the list where I found the quiz? If so, would anyone still have the answers?
Thanks!
