1. REYNOLDS and ROLLINS in CT [1]
Hi listers; I have two stonewalls in CT: Stephen REYNOLDS born October 29, 1789, and Erastus ROLLINS, born in about 1813. Stephen appears in NY in 1811, marrying a Mary (MILES?). Erastus Appears in Ohio sometime before 1840. Stephen may have been in New Hampshire in about 1793 before NY, then on to Wisconsin in 1844. Erastus had two sons in Ohio before moving to Whitley county Indiana. Does antone have anything on one or both of these two? Rollin _____________________________________________________

Bill: I descend from 20+ New Haven families, not including the Tuttles, but there is intermarriage with them on most lines. See, http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~scperkins/jabez.html for my New Haven ancestry. (Please note that #s 35 and 36 can be taken back several more generations to Wrawby Parish, co. Lincoln, Eng.) Y DNA surname studies look at a certain area of the Y chromosome that is passed down from father to son with no or little variation. When males have a similar DNA signature

13. Jehiel Perkins of CT and OH [1]
Hello: Does anyone have any info on Jehiel (Jehiah) Perkins, born ~1782 in CT, who is in the 1850 and 1860 Census of Guernsey Co., OH? I am trying to determine his death date and location, and find a probate or estate settlement with a record of his wife and children. Is he the father of the American diplomat, Charles Allen Perkins (approx 1830-1890)? I have the information in _The Descendants of Edward Perkins_. I am looking for documents to verify that material. Thanks, Steven C. Perkins ______
