I have been told that at least one of the three DEXTER families living in Killingly in 1790 came from Providence County, RI, and were thus descended from Gregory Dexter. For yet further clarification. The Wharehouse Point that is a town is located in northern CT. The location "Wharehouse Point" is just that - an area in the New Haven harbor. They are not to be confused. By the way, the town of Wharehouse Point has a great trolley museum, which is not to be confused with the trolley museum in Branford, CT. (!)
