I've been using eBay to search for genealogy items also. I usually key in
the name of the county my relatives were from. (It's Berks County so it's
not a real common name.) I get all kinds of items to come up, many of them
historical.

Hi List,
Thought maybe the below website would be helpful to any new researchers or
any on the list that haven't been to the site. Also has alot of good
historical info.
Name of the company's site is below - however most all sites are free. I have
no association with this site - just stumbled across it.

My son, who is an ebay junkie, told me not to just search for genealogy
items. He said to play around and insert other words which may or may not
relate to genealogy. He said that he knows from his own experience that
people might not really know that what they have, so they might list it in
some totally off-the-wall location. Also, for genealogy books, my expert
said to search for history books or any other similar subject that strikes
your fancy, maybe search by state or subject, etc. He finds i

Hello,
Is anyone out there living in Tulsa County OK? I am looking for someone to
look in the phone book for any listings for Huvendhal's. I tried on the
internet, and came up with a John Huvendhal living in the Tulsa area, but
there has been no reply to my email.
Philip & John Baptist Huvendhal, Jr are the last known male Huvendhal's of
the line I am researching. I would like to find out if the family still
exists. Their father moved to Broken Arrow, Indian Territory from MO, and
that was his last kn

Occasionally I auction books on ebay (Genealogy-books.com). However, I
always
add my url, so people can check out the retail price before bidding too high
on an item.
It is easy to over-bid a book ... so, please, try and find a retail price
tag before bidding too
high.

I am looking for help in finding an elusive source item. A researcher of my
family wrote up her version of my family's history, and in it she does a
frustratingly skimpy job of citations. One of the things she cites is "The
History of the Mitchells" by Lorean Dosh -- that's it, no date, no publisher,
nothing. I have no idea if it's a book, an article, a manuscript or what.
>From the nature of the footnote, I gather it talks about how the Mitchells
migrated from Marsden Lanes, Lancasshire England t
