Hi, Erin, thanks for all your work. I was wondering if you could have a few pieces of info on your web site about Irish Hacketts. My line is from Tipperary and then Offaly and is in Burke's LANDED GENTRY OF IRELAND. Others have been researching Protestant lines in quite other parts of Ireland. Hello Erin, Below is Hackett's of Dutchess and Orange co. Ny...I am looking for info on any of them., I am looking for a connection to my Hackett line and I believe this is a start. Dutchess co. Hyde Park... in 1870 I have John-75; Michael-33; John-25 Thomas-22 and Ellen-56.......in 1880 I have listed John -34/ wife Hattie and J. Thomas-33..single. Hi, I, too, have Irish Hacketts that were RC. Mine came from Tyrone to Rhode Island in 1860. I have found them on a ship record, the chancellor, from Liverpool to NY. Their names were Joseph Owen Hackett, his wife, Mary Mckenna, and their infant son John. I descend from their other son Thomas, born in 1869, probably Ohio. Lots of mystery to this family. Hello, I'm researching John Hackett and Mary Christopher and believe both were married about 1794 in Irish Town, Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland. However, I cannot find any information about either of their parents. I think John Hackett was born about 1769 in the same location and Mary Christopher was born about 1773 in the same location.
