Hello,
This is my first post, I am seeking information on the parents and
siblings of my g-great grandfather, William C. Hakett, bn., ca., 1839 in
Richland Co., Ohio. He married Rebecca E. Dunn in 1861, Ohio. William
served during the Civil War. Hope someone out there is searching the
same line !
Thanks,

Gretings all,
I am searching for the parents of Susannah Hackett, who was married to (1)
Ebenezer Ellis, and (2) Job Haskins 1803, in Plymouth County MA. In an
article about Job and Susannah's grandson, Rufus Haskins, my
great-grandfather, it stated that Susannah's father was George. That is all
the information I have to date. I have found a George Hackett born 28 Jan
1759, and one born 1760, both in Middleborough MA, but nothing to tie either
of them to Susannah. I have searched the VRs of Middle

Welcome, Marie!
Do you have more details? I have Hacketts in Richland County in that
timeframe -- and I have a pretty good history of the country written in
1880. There is no mention of any Dunn in the biographical section and only
fleeting mention in the other sections. There are at least two William
Hacketts in Richland County of approximately that age -- neither seems to
have a middle initial of "C" and they are married to women other than
Rebecca Dunn.
What Civil War unit was he in? Did he stay in
Henry HACKETT and Molly SIMISON appear in the John Linn marriages list
http://www.usgennet.org/~ahpaperr/linnmarr.htm ) as having been married on
21 Mar 1793. There are also records on this same page of (brothers?) James
and Robert Hackett and Molly's sisters (?) Elizabeth and Isabella.
Does anyone know of Henry's parents or Molly's parents? Or descendents of
their siblings? Respond to e-mail: wellste@erols.com
warm regards -- Todd.
p.s. -- in the graveyard listing for this same church, there is a li
NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRITY!!!
This week's word is "Peter" :) What this means is in your line, if
you have found any ancestors (or maybe not your ancestors, but with the
surname of the list) named Peter, post it to the list.
FOR NEWBIES: The way the "word of the week" works is I throw out a
topic and if someone has a line that falls into that topic, then they
are *supposed* to post it, but not everyone really does. For instance,
this week, if you have any info on the surname
I am new to the list and looking for information on Samuel
HACKETT (b. 1805, d. 1873 in North Freedom, WI) who married
Dency TERRY.
Would like information on descendents and the Hackett Family
Reunion in Wisconsin.
Samuel Hackett m. Dency Terry
Henry (?) Carpenter m. Mary Hackett
Arthur Howell m. Densie Jane Carpenter
Joseph Henry Douglas m. Mabel Howell
Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any information on the following Hacket:
Chenango County, Town of Oxford, New York
DEATHS reported in 1875 Census, June 1, 1874 - May 31, 1875
HACKET, Daniel, Apr. 12, 1875, 83, widower, Conn., Kidneys, farmer
I am interested in any children he may had.
Many thanks!
Marti
I joined the Mayflower Society many years ago on a line that went through
Nathaniel and Alice Hackett Richmond and their son Gideon. Now the Society
does not accept members on that line because there is no proof for
Nathaniel and Alice's children. The other children are Nathaniel, Alice and
Elizabeth. does anyone have anything on this Alice Hackett? I beleive she
is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Elliot Hackett and born 18 June 1715.
Thanks for any help you could give. Leah Neuberger
