Where did you come across the Hackett Bible? and are there any other names or locations of where these Hacketts were from, or where they lived? Would love to hear from you
Hello there...I'm new with this board posting, so forgive me if I repeat.
In any case, Gladys (Domie) Pirtle, married to Henry (Hank) Pirtle, was my paternal grandmother. My Dad was Charles Willis Pirtle of Flora, IN. Dad's siblings are, as you mentioned, Danny Pirtle, Merom; Brenda Pirtle Hamburg, Merom/Sullivan; Gale Pirtle Blackwell, Florida; Nancy Pirtle Land, deceased.
I'm just starting to work on this research, so any leg up would be appreciated! Thanks!

For your information, the E. A. Hackett family is listed in the Ancestral File. E. A.'s parents are listed as A. W. Hackett and Maria [surname unknown]. No siblings for E. A. are listed in Ancestral File.
According to this, E. A. stands for Edward Albert Hackett.

Nancy, if you would care to repeat your message on my email, with the relative name your mother in law ties to, I would be happy to give a quick search and see what turns up. No use buying an expensive book for one tie in.
Regards, Sally
