Andrea, no, the name does not mean anything to me; but remember, the original Valentine Hackett lived about 1700. If your line is descended from him, it is a long long time ago. I am not going to know anything about recent Hacketts in your family or other surnames (in the 1800s

Hello everyone! :o) I wanted to let everyone know I'm working hard on updating
the webpages for these lists. The main page as well as the main page for each
surname has been updated and broken links fixed. I know the message board
links were all broken and that is because rootsweb decided to do away with them
after their partnership with ancestry.com and now they are all on ancestry. I
have changed all those links and for surnames were I know multiple spellings
and there are boards for those spellings,

>Hello,
I'm researching John Hackett and Mary Christopher and believe both were
married about 1794 in Irish Town, Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland. However, I
cannot find any information about either of their parents. I think John
Hackett was born about 1769 in the same location and Mary Christopher was
born about 1773 in the same location.
Does anyone have a connection with the above John or Mary that would allow
their ancestral line to be linked

patient. For those not aware of the changes going on AOL wi
