My grandfather - Raymond Edward Hackett - was born in Greenville, Ohio
10/06/1886. I am unable to find any further info about his family
before then. He married Blanche Marie Smithhisler in Seattle,
Washington. She coincidentally, is also from Ohio (Danville). Any help
in furthering my knowedge about these folks is appreciated.

For those of you who have access to the www, I would like to suggest that
you pay a visit to Ancestry, Inc. Their main page is located at
http://www.ancestry.com/ but the page I really recommend is their
searchable databases. Some are free for a 10 day period, and others you
have to pay $4.95 a month for unlimited searches. The address for their

Mark This looks like a simple census problem. Have you done your
complete census work from 1920 working back? Or has he left his family by
1900? You did order his death and marriage certificates also?
