Hi --
Just recently took a peek into Ancestral File and they do have your Lot
Hackett listed.
He is listed as the son of Edward Hackett, born 5 June 1747, in either
Mass. or CT and Sara Hedge or Hedges, born abt 1756, prob. near
Freetown, Plymouth Co.
Lot is listed as the 7th of 8 children, born abt 1790, Ma, probably near
Freetown, Plymouth Co. No spouse or descendants are listed for Lot.
Does this provide any help?
I have quite a bit of info on his parents, but go back no futher than
that.

Lists, I am soo sorry for having neglected the lists for sooo long.
(about a month now). In November I was in the middle of midterms and
right now I am just starting with finals this Friday. Plus I had to
start a new job because I wasn't making enough money. It's been a
hectic month for me. Things have finally started to settle down and I
will have more time to take care of the lists.
For this week's word of the week, we are doing something that has not
been done for quite a few months. We ha

Sorry to send this out to the lists. About a month ago, my server went
bezerk and I lost all my previous messages. I know that at least one
person donated money to Rootsweb on my behalf, maybe more, but I need to
contact them to find out again how much and their names for Rootsweb
since it's time to pay my "dues" to Rootsweb. If you can respond by
this wed. (I will leave then for Christmas break and not return til Jan
3rd), that is great, but that's ok if you can't, just reply by the first

I do not have a whole line of people......just one name. William
Hackett was in Pueblo County, CO in 1873. Does anyone know about him?
There is some interesting information available about him, if we could
just find someone who is a relative! I am not related to him...just
trying to help find someone who is.

Hello everyone. This is to let you know about a new feature on the
homepage at rootsweb coming in January. It would come sooner, but I'm
going back to Montana for Christmas break and will have no access to a
computer from this coming Wed. evening to about Jan. 3rd. If there
hasn't been already, I will create a page for each of these lists
(Barringer, Bradford, Eller, and Hackett) and there will be a message
board linked to those surname pages. I could only choose 4 lists to
have these message boa
I am looking for the Clayton Hackett who lived in the Hartford area of CT as a
young man. I've checked the white pages and found four listed in the US.
Figure that my fellow genealogists might be able to help.

I'm looking for a Peter Hackett from the mid to late 1700s. I know that by
1800 he was in KY. My grandparents have a book back in IL about the
descendants/ancestors of Ellen Roxana Wyeth who married Oliver Cromwell
Hackett. The book give Oliver's parents as being John Hackett and Elizabeth
Murphy. The book gives no info on Elizabeth's parents (who I'm looking for),
but it did give John's father as being Peter Hackett who it said was from VA
and fought in the Rev. War. I have not found any info on Peter
I am presently tracing two Hackett lines, both originating in PA (so far).
They merged in a most confusing fashion in Ohio in the early 1800's. . .
hope this helps someone. . . I've only included up to my Grandparent's
generation. I am Raymond Wells' grandson.

I am just starting my research into the Hacketts. My grandmother was Gertrude

Barbara,
I was struck by the name George Hackett in your inquiry. It was my
Grandfather's name!
I am sorry to say I don't know much about him. I do know his father's
name was James
and could very will be a son or grandson of George and Ransom Hackett.
The age
range is right and it is common to be named after you Grandfather.
So, here is what I do know:
James Hackett - of Greene/Oxford, Chenango co, NY
born NY unknown date
married: Anna White Unknown date
Anna was born 9/25/1
Looking for information on parents of Arrestides Polititus (1846-1915),
Nathan Atrides, Ellen, Lovina and Arstilla HACKETT. They moved to
Michigan from New York in 1836. The "parents" came from Ireland, so I'm
told. Any information would be appreciated!
If there are any subscribers to this list living in the Richland County, OH
area (specifically Shiloh), I would appreciate either an e-mailed or
snailmailed copy of the obituary for Woody Huston. He passed away suddenly
last Friday. Woody was my Grandfather's cousin and a good friend to our
family.
Thanks for your assistance -- and my apologies to those of you who I'm
needlessly "spamming" with this request.
cheers -- Todd Wells
