Looking for the Hackett's of LaSalle Co., IL. in particular; Elizabeth
Hackett b. 1815 m. Cyrus Shaver 1835 in LaSalle Co, IL. I have Elizabeth's
father as Ephraium Hackett, but no other information on her family. Looking
for siblings, her mother and more on her father.
I'm also willing to share any info. on the other surnames listed here.

Hello everyone! I apologize from my apparent absence from the lists.
I have been reading the messages to the lists and helping people
behind the scenes with problems they encounter, but this was by far
one of the hardest semesters of my scholastic career and God really
blessed me with the C+ when it should or could have been so much
lower. I'm taking one day a week this next semester to devote
entirely to genealogy, either the lists, doing lookups for others, or
my own, so I should be more active in the

I know many of the folks on this mailing list have had help from Gary
Hackett. As you all probably know, Gary is unable to be on-line, due to
his physical condition.
I received a very short, 4-sentence letter from Gary day before
yesterday. I'm sure this is all he is able to manage. Here's what he
had to say in his letter:
He has been in the hospital since 24 August.
His wife passed away on the 2nd of December.
Gary still has a spark of optimism: he said he'd "catch me when
better".
