Thank you, but it doesn't seem so. From surviving data my g-g-mother was born in 1845, and that is too distant from 1857 to be connected.
Thank you for the message.

I recently saw a portion of a typed manuscript in which the unnamed author claimed to have a copy of the Bible of my ancestor Thankful Hackett Booth, wife of Seth Booth and daughter of Edward Hackett of Freetown, MA, and Locke, NY. It was said to contain records dating back to 1778. I would love to get a copy of this Bible record, or at least a transcript. Does anyone know who has this Bible?

I am researching Hacketts that originally came from England, and settled in
the PA and NY area back in the 1800's. Of course by now they spread across
the US probably. Would love to hear from anyone with similar history.

I am researching Patrick 1799 -1861 and Mary Stanton 1802-1892 Hackett of
County Leitrim, Ireland. They emigrated in 1838 directly to Orange Township,
Ionia County, Michigan to join brother Peter Hackett 1810-1890.
Any special time period? Or first names? Where in Michigan?

Hi I saw your posting on Roots web and I have had Hacketts in Washington.
My Hacketts originated in England, the first bunch immigrated to the NY and PA
area. The other Hacketts in Washington also immigrated from England. If you
see any link would love to hear from you,
GGGrandfather - Rague Hackett settled in PA
GGGrandmother - Emma Twigger Hackett wife
also settled later in Elmira and surrounding area of Chemung, Steuben and

The area in Washington is Spokane area, I do
I am researching the Hackett line, but my line came from PA and NY. They
originally in the mid 1800's came to America. They are also a part of the
Twigger Family their daughter Emma married my gggrandfather Rague in 1832 in
ENgland.
The Twigger family moved to PA also and lived in the Westmoreland area of PA
for about 30 years and then some of them moved on to Ohio. If any of this
sounds familiar to you I would love to hear from you.
She's certainly a possibility for me. My great-grandmother, Rachel Emma
Hackett, was born 19 July 1850, probably in Pennsylvania, and her parents were
probably born in New York. 1857 is probably too late, since my ggm was married to
my ggf, John Quincy Adams, in Pittsburgh on 8 May1867, but it's always
possible that someone's records are incorrect.
She was NOT the Rachel Hackett who was born in 1851 in Tioga County, PA, to
Elmer and Harriet (Robinson) Hackett.
If there's a possibility of a matchup, I
Hi,
I don't have information on your Patrick and Mary (Stanton) Hackett of Co.
Leitrim but I am interested in all Hacketts from Co. Leitrim. The Hackett
name was anglicized to Guckian for many Hackett in Co. Leitrim. They usually
changed their name back to Hackett when they arrived in the U. S.
My ancestor was James Henry (Guckian) Hackett. He married Catherine Hanley.
They had two children who were baptized at Carrick-on-Shannon before they
left for the U. S. sometime in 1849. They were on the 1850 censu
There may be a connection through Monroe County, New York as Peter's
residence is listed as such on the original land document for Ionia County property
in 1837.
I had a Bertha Hackett great aunt living in Spokane about 1948. Bertha
was a sister of Herbert Haley Hackett of Riggins, Idaho; of Georgia
Hackett McGinnis of Louisville, Kentucky; and of my grandfather William
Bostock Hackett, Sr., of Ripley, Tennessee. They were of eight siblings
in the family of Hacketts who were of descendants of the Hacketts,
Bostocks and Wrights of Breedon-on-the-Hill, near Derby in
Leicestershire. The Hackett family home there was known as Breedon
Lodge. If it interests
In researching my family in Manchester, England I have found some as yet

Jacob Judd came to the USA when he was 9 years old.
I am going to save your address because I know I ran across a Hackett tree
with a MacFarland, I just have to find it. Will send as soon as I do.

Thanks I look forward to having the information, if you have any other
information regarding his coming over, or anything about his parents. I do have
a family tree for the Judd family that was in Pennsylvania after thy arrived.
Thanks again Darlene
