I want to apologize to the lists for how I acted yesterday, especially how I
kept pointing out the money I was spending on these lists, so I would like
to make a few things clear. First off, IF these lists are helping people, I
have no intention of cancelling the lists because then they are serving
their purpose and that is to help people. Second, I am more than happy to
spend the money I do on the lists if they are serving their purpose. I am
sorry for how I acted yesterday, I guess with my being frustr

I have much the same information as you in my database. To date, I've never found
any leads on the ancestors of Jacob Hackett, who mar. Elizabeth Moore. In fact,
Hackett research in New Jersey has really been spotty.
How many children do you have for Mary Alice Hackett and Elmer Fonda? I have Gladys
Irene and 3 just listed by surname, no other info.
Most of my info on this line came from the book published by the Hacketts of
Whitewater. I am not a descendant of this line.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for any info on my Hackett line. George & Mercy (Hall)

her husbands name & where she died. Does anyone know anything about this
family?

I have, of course, the info you sent me on your Hackett line a year or so ago.
At that time, you didn't have the parents of Oliver Cromwell Hackett.
Apparently you have found his parents to be John Hacket & Elizabeth Murphy.
Ironically enough, I had them in the database [just their marriage] but didn't
have them linked to anyone. Do you have any siblings listed for this John
Hacket? One last question -- how did you find that John's father was Peter?

Erin,
Do not feel bad for worrying about money. Most of us have been there
as poor college students. I remember digging in the bottom of my
purse to come up with enough change for a TAB!!! I, for one,
appreciate this list very much. The Hacketts are hard to find, and I
have made connections here.

Hello everyone. The test messages are over. I was having a problem and
noticed that a lot of the messages I was sending to the list were coming

how I understand it, but I have received very many things from any of the list.

This is my first Hackett list mail. Sorry if I do not do it properly.
I am interested in finding links to the Hakcetts (wives, children, etc).
William was born in Burbage, Central England in 1824.
He immigrated to the US - I'm not sure when and to what port despite many
requests to the National Archives for ship manifests. Any ideas?
He married Claretta Marker in 1852 in Steubenville, Ohio.
They had seven children: Thomas, Mary b 1877, George, Lemuel, Fredrick Ralph b
