Hi Laura, the Hackett page is linked from the genealogy depository
address in my signature file. The depository is the main index page for
all my surname lists. The actually address is

you may just want to go to the mai
There are now index pages for both Eller and Hackett surnames on the
Genealogy Depository (below) include a link to the query boards. All
the info I currently have in the depository is now linked from the index
page. When you go to the main page, just click on the "Eller" surname
link and it will take you there. There is not much there, but I am
counting on all of you to submit more info to include (census, wills,
bible records, diaries, etc.) For more ideas of what I am looking for
in submission
That was a nice letter you wrote. I don't think you were complaining or
anything just stating the facts. There are alot of us out here that can't
afford to send out money or one reason or another. But I'm really glad you
said you would like info. I don't have alot but I will send via e-mail
what I do have on the name Hackett. Thanks for fining a way I can help.
Sandy
This is really my only Hackett. I'm really just trying a different approach
to finding out more about these Cooks, but there is another Cook/Hackett

Issachar is the ancestor of Bill Watts. I think he has the Hackett
ancestry, but it doesn't include Dorothea.

Greetings Erin and all,
I am interested in the Irish protestant HACKETTS and the HACKETTs in KY.
I was told that I have a grandmothers name of Jane Hackett. Wonder if
she is the one in KY or descendant of that Jane. Were all of those in
Madison County related?
many questions, few answers.
A sunny good afternoon to all assembled.
Which is the recognized way to spell this man's name. He was born in KY
so I guess he fits into the boss ladys request for KY names.
Erin, have you this name on your KY database of Hackett relatives. I have
seen it in public records either/or spelling.
Was he related to the Harrods of eastern KY from VA??
Always questions and no answers. Major frustration.
Somehow Harrods just reminds me of shopping in London. does that mean it
is the English line of Hacketts?? An
Christine, do you know when your HACKETTS came into the USA? Were they
from Ireland?
This is the first HACKETT-L news letter that I have had in ages.

but it did give John's father as being Peter Hackett who it said was from

This week's word is "Kentucky" :) What this means is in your line, if
you have found any ancestors (or maybe not, but with the surname of the
list) in Kentucky, post it to the list.
FOR NEWBIES: The way the "word of the week" works is I throw out a
topic and if someone has a line that falls into that topic, then they
are *supposed* to post it, unfortunately though, I think the majority of
the lists are lurkers, so not everyone really does. (I ha

nothing of this one.

I have information and am looking for information on Hacketts in the
Milwaukee area of Wisconsin.
Patrick Hackett (1849-1894) married Mary Egan (1857-1900), children:
Jane (1880-1954)
Mae (1884-1938)
Edward (?)
Eugene (1885 - 1939)
Also I have a copy of North Point Historic Districts - Milwaukee (published
1981) with a very short biography of developer Edward P Hackett.

Hello all, I am descended from Hared Hackett. This is what I have
always been told and I have documentation to from me to he.
I find now that I have posted incorrect information before and now
hesitate to post anything. I have not been able to prove my data.
I believe my oral history skipped some generations in facts and details.
We have to remember that the forebearers did not have our knowledge and
technology.
Some things remain consistent: One of my ancesters sailed from Ireland,

Hello everyone! I am in a great mood today (first time in a few weeks
too!)! Here is why:
I wrote a letter to my grandfather's brother in Charlotte, NC last
September or October. This family has some kind of fued between grandpa
and his brothers over some issue (I don't really know what it is about),
but the other side of the family had information that I was interested
in for my genealogy. I wrote a long letter telling all about me and my
side of the family since I've been born and how my parent

Can anyone provide ANY further information regarding this couple? Their

I would greatly appreciate it.
I haven't been able to link them to my family tree, but I'm certain they
belong there.
Thanks in advance for your help!
