Hi! I am also a descendant of George & Nancy Hackett thru their daughter, Elizabeth. Have been searching for George & Nancy's parents without much luck so far. I did find in Cumberland Co. PA two George Hacketts that had sons of the right age in 1790 census. Other pieces of the puzzle still have to be put into place. If you get any info on this line I'd love to also receive it. Hi! I'm trying to locate the parents of George Hackett, b. 1777, in PA according to census records. He was in Washington Co. PA in 1810 census with wife Nancy and start of family. By 1816 he one of the first settlers in Blooming Grove Twp., Richland Co. Ohio. Does anyone have info on the sons of Maurice Hackett of Scotland? Sons, John, James and George arrived here before 1790 and settled in PA. I'd also like to reach Robert Henry Hackett III who put this info onto Genforum back in 1998...e-mail address
