HACKETT who served in the War of 1812 and was granted bounty land in Phillips County, AR? On 19 Aug 1813 while serving as an ensign in the 24th Reg't of US Infantry John was wounded in an action with Indians on the Maumee of Lake Erie. A shot penetrated his right arm and his right hand was nearly cut off.

Last issue was Pre-Rev. War, 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830 and 1840. This 3rd volume this fiscal year continues on with 1850 and 1860 both with all-names Indexes.
