8. [HACKETT-L] Kimball S. Hackett/New England, VT [1]
I am looking for information on Kimball S. Hackett's ancestors. I believe many of them settled in the White River Junction area of VT. According to my grandmother's writing, it looks like he may have married twice: once in 1846 to Elizabeth Buck and another in 1848 to Sarepta Leavitt. But this is unclear. It looks like he had 7 children: 1. Clarence E. Hackett (d. 1940) who married Susan Shipman (1852-1932). They had three children: Clara Belle Hackett (1885-1969) married Fred W. Moody (1877-1932) wh

I am looking for leads related to William Hackett who I have found in county histories as immigrating from Burbage, central England, and settling in Jefferson county, Ohio. He married Claretta Marker in 1852 in Jefferson/Stuebenville, Ohio and moved to Forresont, IL. Through family we have heard of a tale that someone may be familiar with. We have heard that he is a descendant of the Md. Hacketts. That he and his brother moved west when one of them got into trouble by hitting someone with th
