My Kentucky Hackett's were said to have come from Hackettstown NJ through Mo and IL to KY. Family lore is they lived at one time near the James Gang Hideout which I think is Merimac Caverns in IL. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Also do any of you trace your Hackett line on to KY on the KY River?
