My great-grandmother, Sarah Hacket, was born in England. She was the wife of Paul Higginbotham. I know of two sons born in Ireland: John Joseph (1860 or 1862 ? -1909) and Paul Higginbotham (1864- ) Ring any bells?

Does anyone have a list of the children of Thankful Hacket and Seth Booth? I think my ancestor Polly Booth may be their daughter. Polly was born in NY on April 3, 1801, married Alvares Booth on June 21, 1818 and died in Locke Twp, Cayuga County, NY on July 11, 1835. Alvares appears on the 1820 Locke Twp census 6 households below Seth Booth, and Polly is buried in Howell Cemetery near Seth and Thankful. Steve Newton

My name is not Mary Ann Hackett, but my gggreataunt was named that. She came to the USA from England in 1856. along with her father Rague Hackett, her mother Emma Twigger Hackett and her brother Joseph William. At first they settled in the Schuykill area of PA and later moved to Tioga Cty, English Hill, Roaring Branch. By the 1920 the Hacketts dispersed to other areas of PA and the Elmira area. If anything sounds familiar I would love to talk to you. Darlene

Have you ever gone into the BMD website, it is only for England. Put the persons name iin it, and hit all districts, and counties or whatever and see what with come up with there. Those names off hand don't mean anything to me, but then I don't too much about my family in England. Do you have any other information please let meknow I will try to help you. Darlene
